At the 2023 virtual Design & Simulation Summit, attendees can learn how to improve simulation productivity and boost computational accuracy by following engineering best practices.

In a presentation titled Engineering Analysis: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Ted Fryberger, president of DeepSoft, will provide tips for improving FEA and CFD workflows across a variety of tools and workflows.

The Design & Simulation Summit, presented by Digital Engineering, kicks off at 1 pm Eastern on Oct. 26 with a keynote panel titled What Can AI Bring to Design for Additive Manufacturing? Following the keynote, attendees can select from four additional presentations on Design, Simulation, Digital Thread, and Engineering Workstations presented by leading end users, analysts and consultants.

According to the Simulation session description:

Aerospace engineering companies, by necessity, have always been at the forefront of simulation. Smaller companies often lag behind. In fifty years, Ted Fryberger, President of DeepSoft, has seen the best and the worst in engineering analysis. In this presentation, he highlights the best practices in performing FEA stress, thermal, and dynamics analyses; as well as manual calculations. He also discusses what helps or hinders this process.
